What is Kazu Navi?

Learning Japanese can be a daunting adventure, and sometimes it's the little things – like figuring out how to say "3 weeks ago" or remembering the counter for flat objects – that can feel like navigating a tricky forest path. As a Japanese learner myself, I often struggle with remembering stuff when it comes to the inconsistent nature of some numbers and counters, and I often find myself turning to online resources, but even the best tools like Google Translate or dedicated websites don't always get the numbers part right and they can be overwhelming to navigate just to find the right answer.

I created Kazu Navi (かずナビ) to be my personal easy look-up tool to help with my struggles and hopefully it can help other people too.

I aim to provide instant, accurate, and easy-to-understand answers for Japanese time, dates, numbers, counters, durations, and even natural phrasing, saving you time and building your confidence. While we're still in the early stages, I hope to add more features and tools to help you on your journey, the most recent being the Sentence Grammar Analyzer and the Natural Translator.
